Westover Wash Hangar

This project involved the relocating of existing overhead lines to an underground location and the installation of a new underground electric distribution system complete with PVC-H and rigid galvanized steel conduits, 15KV cabling, load interrupter switches and manholes. The project additionally required the removal and disposal of a portion of the existing aerial system. Copper and aluminum from the existing aerial cabling was to be recycled to the extent available. The government supplied an emergency generator to supply power to the buildings until the new underground lines were tied to each building. All this outside work was performed in winter in zero degree temperatures.
