The scope of this project is to remediate the lead and asbestos in four excess three story concrete and block Navy barracks buildings and then raze the structures completely. Site work includes removal of large trees and an existing flagpole and the capping off of utilities to the buildings. All buildings were almost fully furnished with older dormitory style furniture that the Navy did not want. These furnishings are being offered to local shelters and non-profit organizations for their use at no cost.
