This design-build project consisted of adding a geothermal HVAC system. No welding was allowed in this building which posed a problem. The existing steam heating system was broken up into 3 different zones. All piping work was completed without interruption to heat in the building. Also, an 86' chimney was lined with a stainless steel liner. Removal of antique furniture and valuable paintings were a must before any work could be started. Small access panels were hidden whenever possible to maintain the integrity of the historic structure. Both projects were completed on schedule which pleased the owner/operators.
