At Concord’s famous North Bridge general construction of a number of elements took place including rehabilitation and remedial work to the site monuments, extensive landscape work on a route going from the Monument Street parking lot to the North Bridge Visitor Center parking lot and other miscellaneous work around the area was completed. The biggest challenge was that the grounds were not to be disturbed by vehicle or equipment travel. Fifty (50) or more large trees were cut and removed from the adjoining wetlands by hand to preserve the integrity of the park ground.
